German GP 09 - No Penalties for Kimi/Sutil Incident

Kimi Raikkonen and Adrian Sutil were under investigation after the race for their clash at turn one on lap 28 of the German GP, as Sutil exited the pits.

Unlike the press, both drivers refused to blame each other though.

Kimi told the BBC: “I don’t think it was anybody’s fault…It was just a normal racing incident. “Unfortunately we touched, but I don’t know what I can do, because I was on the outside and cannot see everything in this situation.”

The race stewards also agreed, as their investigation ruled that the crash as a racing incident and therefore neither driver will face any penalty from the FIA.
