Maranello, April 3rd 2009 – The first British Ferrari Store will be officially opened on London’s chic Regent Street on May 6th in a ceremony attended by Scuderia Ferrari driver Kimi Räikkönen.



From today, however, Prancing Horse enthusiasts will be able to shop at the Store which is located at number 193 – 197 Regent Street. Inside they will discover the entire range of Ferrari products for Formula 1 tifosi, GT enthusiasts, children and collectors. A replica of the F2005 will take pride of place in the main window and is also on sale at the various Ferrari Stores as well as from Maranello itself. Photographs and a virtual tour of this latest Ferrari Store are also available through the Company’s brand-new http://www.ferrari.com portal.



There are currently 25 Ferrari Stores, over half of which are in leading cities outside of Italy. The next new Stores to open will be in Dubai, Jeddah, Bahrain, Florence, Athens, Bucharest and New York.



All of our retail outlets are franchises with the exception of the original Ferrari Store which opened in Maranello in 2002 and is owned and run directly by the Company. The London Store is managed by the Percassi Group, a high profile Italian and international retail company which also owns the Ferrari Store in Milan which has been in business since September 2005.

Sweet Is anyone going to be there?

Oh i really want to go to this!!
The Ferrari store will be really cool i bet & i wonder if it’ll be a great chance to meet Kimi & get something autographed.
I’ve only ever been to the centre of London once (by train to Kings Cross)
It would be lovely to meet up.
I’m trying to convince my fiancee to book a day off work and join me but i don’t think she wants to lol

I’ve been making enquiries into getting there this afternoon….train/coach times & fares etc.

I’ve been wanting to go to London for a couple of days break for a while now & when i was in Leeds station the other week those national express trains looked very very nice inside, especially 1st class!!
I could just see myself in one of those down to London & back for the 2 hours journey with a couple of beers & my laptop and ipod.

I’ve emailed customercare@ferraristore.com to ask if they can tell me when Kimi’s scheduled to turn up.
Haven’t got back to me yet…..they’ve normally been pretty quick replying in the past.

Train to London booked, coach back booked. I’m sorted for Wednesday!!
Can’t wait…. i don’t really have any expectations about getting close to or meeting Kimi due to how busy it will probably be and i don’t have any expectations as to how long he’ll be around at the store because we know what he’s like but it’s fine with me!

It’ll just be nice to have a day off work, not have to drive, listening to my i-pod for ages on the journeys, go to London and check out the Ferrari store and generally have a nice day out !!

Jemela/Jake (or anyone else) are you making the trip?

Some might remember me, I was Schuey here a few years ago… anyway I went to this today and I think I saw Jemela and Jake.

Got the banner I made for Monaco and Spain signed (this is 1/3 of it, there is also a GO VETTEL and GO MASSA part, and my gf got her 1/18 Brazil 2007 model signed.
